Check HTTP Headers with Chrome Dev Tools

Let’s say you’ve added custom HTTP headers to your WordPress site and you want to make sure they’re working.

You can inspect your website to see the CSS, but you can also right-click and inspect with Chrome Dev Tools to see your site’s HTTP headers.

Here’s how to see your HTTP headers with Chrome Dev Tools:

  1. Click on the Network tab and refresh the page.
  2. Find your root domain in the Name box.
  3. Click Headers and scroll down to see your response headers.

You can also see your HTTP headers using this cURL command in the terminal:

curl -I https://{YOUR DOMAIN HERE}

Depending on your host you may need to use this one:

curl -I https://{YOUR DOMAIN HERE}/wp-json
